Philosophy

Great people and happy people do great science! The Chaim lab is a safe space where you can be your authentic self.  It is a place where you will strive to be the best person and scientist you can be, both on your own and together with your peers. We believe that diversity is a driving force for science and that each member of our group brings a unique and valuable set of experiences and skills that make us stronger as a community.

My goal as faculty and principal investigator is for all of us to succeed together, doing exciting, ground breaking, and rigorous science, while having  fun. Success has different definitions for different individuals. I want you to accomplish your personal and professional goals, whichever they are. I want your time in the Chaim Lab to help you get there, and for you to help and support others to get there as well.
